You deserve to be fully seen and heard.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, identity questions, or simply trying to understand yourself more deeply, individual therapy can be a powerful space for healing and growth. Our approach is grounded in affirmative psychoanalytic theory – an exploration of:

  • How your past experiences shape your present relationships
  • Your emotional development throughout your lifespan
  • How your unconscious impulses may be holding you back from the life you want.
  • What societal messages may be contributing to your internalized sense of self.

What to Expect

Individualized Attention and Care of Your Mind

Psychoanalytic therapy is most powerful at least once a week, but can be offered up to five times per week for more intensive care. Safety to explore more deeply is created in routine and consistency. As trust builds in your therapeutic relationship so does curiosity about patterns, relationships, and inner conflicts that may be influencing how you move through the world.

As your therapy continues, you and your therapist may find meeting more than once a week creates an opportunity to take your work even deeper. That’s entirely up to you!

Affirmative & Inclusive Space

We center the complexities of your identity, and the intersections too. This is a space where all parts of you are welcome, especially those that have been silenced or marginalized elsewhere. This work helps you to hold your core sense of self together more consistently against forces of discrimination and oppression.

Insight That Leads to Change

Linking the past to the present isn’t just an intellectual exercise. It’s an emotional one. When you can see HOW your dynamics developed and WHY you haven’t changed them before – it becomes an opportunity to unlock new possibilities. When the unconscious becomes more conscious, it creates an awareness that can leads to meaningful shifts in your relationships, choices, and emotional life.

What Issues Do We Work With:
