This is a closed process group for AAPI young adults (18-26) who identity as queer and trans. A closed process group means the same people will meet once a week for at least 12 weeks. The group may open up to new members at the end of the 12 week cycle.
What we need from you:
To provide a supportive group experience, the following requirements must be met to join the group. You must be:
- An AAPI adult between the ages of 18-26 that identifies within the LGBTQIA+ umbrella
- Living in the state California and over 18 years old
- Willing to make a weekly commitment for at least 12 weeks from the beginning of the group
- Able to keep a strong internet connection in a confidential space
- Interested in a space where you can build a stronger sense of identity and community in an affirming environment away from negative narratives about who you are and who you should be.
Contact us using the form below. To ensure a good fit and maintain group cohesion, the group leader, Kyung In Lee, will require a brief initial consultation. Please use the consultation as an opportunity to ask questions and communicate your needs as well.
