Out Couch Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy offers closed process groups focused on specific community challenges and collective traumas that may be impacting your quality of life. Group therapy may offer you opportunities for growth and insight that are different than individual therapy. This can also be a more affordable option to weekly one-on-one sessions. Working with a group of people can help you create a sense of universality and hope, and share knowledge and information with others about the issues your group is focused in. Learning to consider others’ experiences, express yourself more confidently, and manage potential conflict in new ways can create new understandings of difficult experiences you may have had earlier in life. Our current group offerings are listed below.
TRANScending Love: A psychotherapy group for partners of transgender people
Melissa Dellens, MA, LMFT, TRM-1 is starting an online therapy group for partners of transgender people to explore emotional and identity development as it relates to loving relationships. The group process will offer community and connection along with experiences in building stronger communication and intimacy skills.

AAPI Queer and Trans Therapy Group
Kyung In Lee, MA, AMFT is starting an online therapy group for AAPI young adults (18-26) who identity as queer and trans. This process group provides a space where you can bring all of the different, authentic parts of yourself into the room and in community with others.
